ChatGPT in Viber: Features to help you
Here’s what you can do with ChatGPT in Viber now:
- ChatGPT in Viber: Ask questions, explore ideas, get help with everyday tasks in a dedicated chat – just like with a contact or in a dedicated tab right in the app.
- Tag ChatGPT: Type @ChatGPT in any private or group chat to bring ChatGPT into the conversation and ask it anything. Everyone in the chat can reply to ChatGPT’s response, so the conversation keeps moving.
- Remix image: Transform and edit your photos sent in 1:1 and group chats with new styles, use your own prompts or our ready-made visual style templates.
- Chat summary: Catch up on busy conversations in group chats with a private summary in one tap, that only you can see.
- Link summary: Get the key points from an article, blog post, or document shared in a group chat – right in the chat with just a tap.
- Polish message: Rewrite your message for the right tone and clarity before sending it.
- Translate message: Break language barriers, read and reply to messages in different languages just as easily as in your native one.
Simply update Viber to the latest version and start exploring. All other tools are ready to use immediately with no registration or sign-up needed.
Privacy
Privacy remains at the core of the Viber experience, and the new ChatGPT features are there on demand: Ready when you choose to use them, and out of the way when you don’t. Viber’s core features are protected by end-to-end encryption so conversations between Viber users stay private and can’t be read by Viber and you stay in control of when and how you use ChatGPT features. ChatGPT in Viber chats are handled by OpenAI under the OpenAI Terms and Privacy Policy. If a user connects their ChatGPT account, their ChatGPT in Viber activity will be linked to that account and handled under OpenAI’s standard retention policies. For all other AI features, only the specific text, image, or request users choose is sent securely to OpenAI for processing or recent messages that mention ChatGPT – never account data or the rest of a chat. This data is only kept for a limited time period and is never used to train OpenAI’s models. ChatGPT-powered features are also subject to OpenAI’s Usage Policies, and OpenAI may review content for safety.
