We’re looking for an experienced, highly motivated senior web fullstack developer to join our team. As such, you will be responsible for design and development of Viber features. We offer many interesting and challenging tasks that will allow you to extend your technical abilities delivering the product of the highest quality to our users.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and support the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release, and support phases
- Strongly cooperate with our product and design teams to implement their vision and user experience into code
- Contribute to building our engineering team: participate in technical reviews, architecture, design systems
- Test your own code. You will debug, optimize, unit/regression/cross-platform test your work.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience
- Strong Angular, Angular-material, React knowledge
- Strong knowledge in either of the following technologies: PHP or Node.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and SASS
- Experience with REST APIs and integrating with backend services, understanding caching and offline storage
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Experience with Docker
- Ability to implement unit and end-to-end tests, experience in implementation of A/B tests
- Experience with microservices development and architecture
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

- Experience with data-fetching libraries for web applications (RTK Query / React Query / etc.)
- Experience with validation libraries (Zod / Yup / etc.)
- Experience with react-hook-form or similar form management libraries
- Experience with i18n

- Advanced knowledge of unit testing frameworks and mocking
- Experience with AWS cloud
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience working with distributed teams
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
