UX Researcher

We’re looking for a UX Researcher to join our Product Design team and take full ownership of the Research discipline at Viber. Lead impactful research initiatives in different regions and user types, while working with stakeholders to create superior user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify research topics and create actionable research plans that align with business goals.
- Conduct various generative and evaluative research studies, including surveys, interviews, usability tests, and more. This includes research planning, participant recruitment, execution, analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the process.
- Analyze research findings and turn them into actionable insights that fuel ideation, inform product decisions, and evaluate designs.
- Communicate insights and recommendations in compelling ways
- Leverage AI tools to enhance the impact and effectiveness of UX research, building new processes and shape how AI will transform the way we understand our users.
- Mentor PMs and designers to support research democratization efforts
- Effectively manage and prioritize research projects
- Build a UX Research knowledge base about our users and our product, while continuously expanding its scope. Provide key stakeholders across the organization with access to research methodologies, documentation, findings, and valuable insights.
Requirements
- Required: 3+ years of experience in UX research within product companies
- Preferred: A degree in a human behavior-related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, or similar.
- A strong understanding of research methodologies, including usability testing, qualitative interviewing, surveying, and more.
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to make things happen.
- Excited about leveraging AI tools to enhance research processes and uncover deeper insights.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders at once, including relationship building, problem-solving, and project management.
- Excellent communication skills. You know how to get users talking, give compelling presentations, and everything in between.
