We’re looking for a Junior Carrier Relations Operator for our Telco team, focusing on sales and procurement for our A2P SMS and Voice products.
As a Junior Carrier Relations Operator, you’ll be working with industry market players such as mobile operators, virtual mobile operations, traffic aggregators, API Cloud communication platforms, and others.
Responsibilities
- Manage costs, rates, and other trade-related data
- Evaluate and price new strategic and profitable deals
- Support the team and other stakeholders across various aspects, including ongoing deals.
- Act as the main point of contact inside the department in terms of deals, rates, volumes, and communicate the same to the other departments in Viber
- Monitor customer performance in terms of quality and costs to ensure company targets and objectives are met
- Develop new business by engaging with relevant global players in the market
- Maintain relationships and up-sell to existing customers; create and manage valuable wholesale traffic swap deals
Requirements
- 2–3 years of proven professional experience in the SMS A2P or Voice market
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Commercial mindset on improving efficiency and simplifying work procedures
- Telecom wholesale experience in messaging/voice trading: exchanging traffic between carriers, identifying opportunities, and creating swap deals for stable revenue and margins
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborating with teammates globally
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
